When Erik was 4 months old we started putting him in a jumper. He absolutely LOVED it! He would sit in that thing for awhile without getting upset. At first he would just spin around, then he learned how to jump. He started jumping really high, and as he got older he'd almost run and push off when jumping. He would always have a great time and would laugh so hard! Lily never really liked it too much. She'd stay in it for a few minutes, then start crying. We put Drew in it about a month ago, but he didn't like it. We tried it again today and this time he stayed in for about 20 minutes. He doesn't jump yet, just spins around. He likes being able to sit up and look around. Now I'm wondering if Drew will be a grasshopper like Erik. Maybe that's why Erik loves to jump around now, because it's in his blood?

This is Erik when he was about 4 months old.

Erik, 5 months. He's having a great time!

Drew, 5 months. We don't have any pictures of Lily in the jumper because she didn't like it. We also lived at BYU and there weren't any door frames to hang the jumper from.

He's not quite sure what to think of this yet. Notice he's jumping in the coat closet. That's the only door with a frame that isn't right up against the ceiling.
