Christmas Lights

This is the first year we've actually been able to put up outdoor lights.....other than a string on our apartment balcony. We hit Walmart on Black Friday, but not until about 12:30 in the afternoon. They had a sale on lights until 2:00 that afternoon so I bought these cool snowflake icicle lights that change from blue to white. The white lights are cool white LED lights, so I also got a few strands of bigger cool white lights to put across the front of the porch and around the garage. They look so pretty at night, and they are quite bright. Now we just need to buy more decorations for inside. I guess we'll be hitting the stores the day after Christmas to see what's left on clearance. We also need to find another Christmas tree. Since our apartment was so small we just bought a 4ft artificial tree. Well, that would look funny in our vaulted, 18-20 feet high living room, so we just put it up on a box in the family room. Rose can still reach it, but she's pretty good about leaving it alone right now....we'll see if that still works when we have some ornaments on it. Hopefully we can find a good deal on a 10-12 foot tree before next year.

Enjoying hot chocolate after school when the temp was 6 degrees outside! BRRRR!!!
