Erik Turns 9

While my parents were here we had a little celebration for Erik's 9th birthday. This birthday kind of got put on the backburner because of all the work at the house. But, we did have a cake and he got a few presents. We just kept it really low key. He did get the skateboard he's been wanting for about a year now. He was pretty excited. My parents gave him a solar car kit which they built together. He enjoyed that as well.  Erik is such a smart kid and can be a very caring and helpful brother. He loves scouts, video games, football and has a great imagination. He also wants to start taking karate. We sure love him and are so blessed to have him in our family.
