Alex, Then and Now

(Note: I started this post back at the end of August, when he was 6 weeks old, but he is now 2 months old.)

One week old

Alex is growing like crazy! He was 7 pounds 6 ounces when he was born, which was the 25th percentile. At his one month check-up he weighed 11 pounds 9 ounces, which was the 90th percentile. He has a double chin, rolls on his legs, a round face and dimples on his elbows! He is adorable and very cuddly! He loves sleeping on his belly, eating and being held. He is also starting to smile and laugh at us and at things we can't see. :) Everyone loves him to pieces!

If we need him to, he takes a bottle and formula without any problems. He naps well most of the time and is also starting to sleep for long stretches at night....once we can get him down for the night. He's starting to have trouble going to sleep for the night, so hopefully he'll learn how to self-soothe and cry himself to sleep soon. Right now, he just gets madder and madder when he cries, so he wakes himself up. We're working on it and hopefully he figures it out soon.

He's growing up so fast and is usually a sweet boy....just don't let him get too tired or too hungry. I can't believe he's already 2 months old!

We sure love this little boy, but he is growing up way too fast! We all love to kiss his cheeks and give him hugs.
