Our 4 year old princess in her new dress. She picked it out, but I love it! So classy!
Not quite 1 month
Last Sunday, February 21st, Lily turned 4. Where has the time gone? She is growing up so quickly! She is very independent and is still our wild child! Here are a few things about Lily:
- She is very loud and still likes to shriek/scream at people, both when she's happy and when she's upset.
- She loves to play wild with her brothers and with us.
- She has the cutest belly laugh that is very contagious.
- She isn't scared of things like the doctor, dentist, shots, falling down, etc but she is scared of being in the back of the house (bathroom or bedrooms) alone, even in the middle of the day.
- She loves to cheer for Utah, the Raiders and the Red Wings...just like her dad!
- She can be very sweet and helpful one minute, and be a terror the next.
- She LOVES to watch SpongeBob over and over and over and over and over and over.....
- She likes playing Star Wars, cars and dinosaurs with Erik, but she also loves to play with her princesses, Barbies and dolls.
- Apparently she is kinda tall for her age because at her dentist appointment last month the dentist was surprised when I said she'd be 4 in a few weeks. He said she was big/tall for her age.
- She is just as stubborn as her dad and aunt Jennifer (from what I've heard), if not more so. :)
- She loves to run around outside and has no problem getting wet, dirty or muddy.
- She likes to eat snow, even though we've told her many times not to do so without gloves on her hands. She hasn't figured that one out yet.
- She loves her brothers!
- She has the cutest smile and gives the BEST hugs!
We had a few friends over Saturday for cake and a SpongeBob themed party, which was mostly a time for the kids to play. We did play "Pin the Tie on SpongeBob" and the kids had fun playing with her presents. She got a SpongeBob Barbie from Grandma Janet, mini Barbies and a Thomas the Tank Engine playset from us, money from Dub and Grandma Dub, and a cute "girlie" gift bag from her friends. She picked a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate ice cream for her party, which surprised me since she almost always chooses vanilla ice cream. She also got to pick where she wanted to go for dinner. She chose Wendy's. :)
Happy Birthday Lily! We love you so very much!
